Sunday Morning
Just got home from service over at Elim Tabernacle. It was a good time - The pastor was speaking on perseverance, and it was a healthy reminder that there is a pressing need to press on in our faith...
- It's a solid message that says "no matter what, I won't give up" - I remember a point in my life when I thought about every possible situation that could derail me in my faith and in those moments - I dealt with those hooks in my life... I really feel like I was able to lay that stuff aside. It was good again just to have things reiterated to me.
- It was interesting again to look down the list of names in Hebrews 11 and see the people that are named as men and women of faith... adulterers, murderers, harlots, liars, people with terrible judgement - and yet there they are... named as great in the eyes of God.
Encouraging to know there is room to fail - and reward in trying again. I can see that in my own life.
