It's been a great week. Ang and I are moved into our new place. We are leasing a really cool townhouse that's very close to the church. It's a five level split - which I've never really seen before - but just each level has a great feel to it. The place is very liveable. It has a single car garage (car hole) - a natural gas fireplace - hardwood and ceramic tile - and brand new appliances. So it's sweet.
We are in the south west quarter of Calgary - Cougar Ridge is the name of the neighborhood - it's directly behind the ski-jump if that's a better place marker.
This week was fairly heavy (not unlike the last month...) did a lot of driving back and forth from S'toon and Calgary - getting the final move together and the like.
The first two weeks here really did something to me. The people are very welcoming and hospitable. In fact, two different families opened their homes to me while they were away. So I had lot's of space to debrief at the end of the day. That kind of welcome was representative of the church - we've already had lot's of invites for suppers - it's been great.
What am I saying? A solid first impression.
The kicker yesterday was an invite to a great superbowl party. Food galore (gourmet chili) and getting to relax after a full work week.

Wow, sounds great.
Hope it goes well for you guys.
Verrrry interesting. One of our pastors always says never to "rush" or put time limits on major decisions. This is because God wants only His best for His children and will get us there if we listen to His voice and rest in patience. You two are perfect examples of having done it the right way and now you are reaping the blessings. God bless your caring church family -- and your condo sounds wonderful
