Since being in transition Angela and I have had nothing less than an incredible amount of support from friends and family. Kudos to other FM pastors that know me - the professional support has been appreciated - my family and extended family have been gracious to us in their reminders of prayer and expressions of encouragement.
As of yet, there are no finite plans as far as future employment goes. We are applying within and beyond our own denomination - with hopes of a good FM job. I am quite proud to be a part of the network of believers that make up the Free Methodist Church - however, there really aren't a lot of job openings in our denomination. We have a few leads, but things aren't for sure until they are for sure, if you know what I mean. There's probably a better way of putting that...
Our tentative plan is to move to S'toon and maybe land in on my parents for the interim period. I'm reluctant to rent an apartment in S'toon if we get a job somewhere in B.C or California a month later.
Anyway, I've said to Angie a couple times that I really have a sense as we pray things through that God is going ahead of us and preparing our way. We're at peace to say His way is our way - so it makes the choices a little more obvious. Truthfully, we're both leaning towards S'toon for out next move - I honestly never thought we'd move back there... yet, it keeps coming back to us as we pray and start to prepare for the move.
She has said to me a few times that the next place we are she'd like to stay for at least 5 years (more like 10) as she wants to see the boys get into school - be somewhat settled and make friends. While I'm sensitive to that, I also said it's only fractionally up to me. There's wisdom in that though - as far as career and ministry goes - I'd like to dig into something over the long haul. It'd be great to see some initiatives take shape over the course of years as the vision is clarified and refined.
Well, it's all a little presumptuous to talk too much about. But there it is - some thoughts about the far and not so distant future.
Adam out.

Best wishes to you guys as you get started ona new leg...I can totally relate to Angie in the wanting to stay in one place for a while, as Chester and I enter the seriously thinking about kids phase and me wanting to have some impact for the kingdom with my new job. Lots of prayers headed your way!!
Acts 17:26 - this verse has been so encouraging to us in similar circumstances ... He chooses where we live??!! ... get excited ... God only wants His best for us and it's waiting for you! Will be interested to see how your transition plays out!
