a week has gone by since we were at the lake for Family Camp.
it was a great time. it really seemed like family camp since we were hanging with the two boys - and there was lot's of friends with kids our age. life is rolling.

this week has consisted of Ang and I trying to shake our colds. office work at the church and the co-op - some visitation (not to any older sick people as I didn't want to pass on anything lingering in my system) and a great time relaxing this evening with our friends Bobby and Diana Mark. They've been on a cross provincial tour through Manitoba and Saskatchewan and we were fortunate enough to have them here for supper and a great time of catching up.

i'm wringing my hands waiting for next week when we'll cruise to the north again - waskesiu for a couple days with Ang's family and then I'm continuing on into the farther northern reaches to hang with some buddies canoeing the churchill again. it's the most wonderful time of the year.

church should be very cool on Aug. 7th - we're having guest speakers and guest musicians - so if you want to catch a good service try Avonlea Free Methodist Church - August 7th - 11:00 am (coffee @ 10:00)

life is good - it's been an early night for every one here - 8:45 and resistance is futile for the boys - they'll be asleep in minutes - while Ang has turned in herself. on the mend, you see.

perfect night to drive down some old dirt roads - (I think the jeep is sold... so I want to have a few more nostalgic tours throught the country side)
