Jobs

I got a job working at the Avonlea Co-op. I was getting some fuel for my car and the business manager came out to the pumps to ask if I'd be interested in doing some book work part-time.
I'd been praying for a part-time job so I said I'd think about it.
It really doesn't get any better than this - I've been wanting to get a little more training/experience with in an accounting field - so I took the job.

Another added bonus is I get an interesting look at the business end of agriculture. The Co-op does millions in chemicals and seed - so I'm learning some the business of farming from a purely financial angle. Which is good - I've wanted to get a better perspective on agriculture - it helps to connect in the conversations and relationships of most people here in town.
