You lead a busy, sometimes hectic life, so when it comes to free time, you want to get away from it all. You workout for all the health benefits, but your desire to exercise is closely tied to your need to de-stress. The environment in which you workout is very important to you—you don't want to feel rushed, crowded or pushed to work harder than your mood allows.
Tip: Try getting involved in a solo sports program, such as bicycling, running, walking, swimming, canoeing or snowshoeing. Get outside for your workouts as frequently as possible—even better, try to combine outdoor excursions with mind-focusing exercises like yoga, tai chi, or pilates.
While you enjoy beating stress with your workouts, some days you would rather escape to the comforts of your home
Well, I guess that about sums the way I workout to a tee. Although my dad and I were in a weight lifting program at Quantum Fitness in Saskatoon. I think the thing I liked about it is that the instructors were great, (not too sociable, instead more professional, the workout was muscle specific with a focus on stretching. However, the thing I think I liked most was just hanging with dad. And the price was a little steep to keep up with it.
