The flu that missed me a month ago caught me yesterday. Well, it caught me in my sleep so there was no running... but boy, oh boy, it caught me.

me: "Angela, I feel terrible!"

angela: "Don't worry about it, it will pass."

well it passed alright... and passed... - I hope I didn't commit heresy today in my sermon - I was a little dizzy and told everyone that I wouldn't shake their hand or really talk too close to them. They understood.

Randy Miller read a letter from our Bishop Keith Elford that was addressed to me. I didn't know anything about it - but it was in response to my completion of ministerial candidacy (or credentials to some of you other guys).

That was nice.

We've concluded our series on prayer which I was pleased with. Our topics were prayer and: the individual believer, spiritual conflict, bad times, intimacy, and todays message - "forgiveness".

It was a good topic for me - some found it good, I'm sure some were bored, others shared it was heart-wrenching at times.

It's incredible how different people are, how different they respond to things, how people interpret particular statements so differently for themselves... I would say it's fascinating.

We're on to Lent
