After seeing the Passion of the Christ - I would have to say that Mel Gibson is a great director. No surprise he won Oscar for the last movie he directed (Braveheart).
He's a great storyteller. And with the ramifications of the movie - the imagery and the significance to so many - I think there will be record dvd sales.
