Small Town Vs. Big City
Regarding hospitality, I have experienced more gracious people here in Avonlea than anywhere else I've lived.
A widow in our congregation brought over five boxes of Christmas goodies Sunday night; squares, tarts, cakes, strudels, and other pastries. It was incredible. She gave them to us in the memory of loved ones that have passed away.
These delights came after the realization that to the date I have eaten more treats this Christmas than any other previous year. I'll have to develop some kind of schedule to get this stuff down and eaten.
See if that can get topped in the city
