It's a white picture outside - 3 days of snow have covered the leaves on my lawn, polished the sidewalks and streetways with slick patches of ice, and launched me into winter mode.
I've effectively begun equipping the boys with snowsuits and sleds - bought a new extension cord for the block heater, along with a new ultra-shovel for the sidewalk - as well as stocked the cupboards with a lifetime supply of hot cocoa and coffees.
I'm doing my christmas dreaming a little early this year - bought some harry connick jr - x-mas tunes yesterday.
Feels good.
