Checked out the Matrix last night. It was great.
For a few reasons:
a) Fate of the world sealed with a fist fight. (and a choice)
b) It seemed that faith was emphasized over fate... and it took this episode to finally iron that out.
c) Less whack statements like "I know because I must know, it is my purpose to know, know what I mean blah yada."
d) The final smith fight was great.
e) Merovingians scene was great - again (casting Lambert Wilson was good idea)
Although I thought it was strange how the Oracle was a different actress - the explanation was weak as far as plot goes, and it made me wonder what happened to the original. (Not in the movie, but in real life...)
Two thumbs up - I'll buy it - although I was the only person in the theatre that laughed out loud several times... made me wonder what everyone else was thinking...
