Saskatoon today

Heat, strain, agenda, thoughts, change, responsibility, work, and pleasure have taken a certain toll on me over the last few weeks.

I love it.

Last week my brains almost melted as we had a camp full of 8-11 year olds and the thermometer was pushed to 37 degrees with a definite lack of breeze @ Arlington. I almost did a search on google for giant body sized spatulas to scrape kids off the climbing wall... they were getting fried right to it.

Some news? We're pleased to announce that we have been hired to Avonlea Free Methodist Church for the fall. We'll spend most of the year there and continue through the summer @ Arlington leading camps. We're excited.

Looking forward to next weeks camp and then it's two weeks of canoeing the Churchill river up north... If you're wondering what it's like - I have shared an experience here.

Enjoyed Family Camp this summer immensely. It was great to catch up with some friends and hear some good preaching/teaching.
