Outreach on campus from Hell

Found via chi alpha @ stanford

Chi Alpha at Georgetown held an outreach called The Devil Draws a Crowd On A College Campus.

Students replaced the cover of copies of "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis with one reading "Satan, My Story." A student dressed up as Satan – red suit, pitchfork and all – and read from his "autobiography" in the middle of the student union. Curiosity drew non-Christian students in, and the outreach, held last fall, was a tremendous success.

"We were able to address the topics of sin, evil and spiritual development," Chi Alpha chapter director Shawn Galyen said. "Amazingly, we were not shunned as Satan sat in the middle of campus signing books. I knew the idea was a success when students came up to me and asked, 'Why are you doing this?'" The book-signing was followed up with a dorm talk on evil and Satan, a movie night covering the same issues, and group meetings that discussed "The Screwtape Letters."

'Satan' signed the books, "I hate you."

this made me laugh - dressing up like the devil for an outreach...
